This is so true..as a Product Manager at a fintech company building for the everyday user I often get suggestions from business stakeholders on what features we should build. Often when I say âWhy do you think we should build that?â They respond with, âwouldnât you want that as a user? Seems like he normal thing to do right?â
I always respond with..âwell we can test it & see if they want it. Letâs a/b test it.â Letâs experiment with itâ
Never respond with âyeah they would love that..letâs roll it out to everyone tomorrowâ

Your point also makes me think of "Yes and," the improv rule. Always a good way to respond when someone proposes an idea, even if you disagree...doesn't mean you have to do it :)
