Happy Thanksgiving!
After completing the enlightening online course "The Science of Wellbeing" by Dr. Laurie Santos, the significance of gratitude has woven itself into the fabric of our daily lives. This transformative practice, as endorsed by positive psychology, not only fortifies relationships but also paves the way for a more joyful and meaningful existence.
As we celebrate Thanksgiving today, we find ourselves compelled to extend our heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you. The unwavering support over the past year, coupled with the profound connections we've cultivated, has elevated the journey of establishing Hawk Hill Ventures to an immeasurable level of significance—one that transcends the realm of mere financial pursuits.
What are we grateful for?
Community: none of what we’re working on matters without the people. In fact, there would be no Hawk Hill Ventures whatsoever. We are so grateful for the support you all provide us, your engagement with our newsletters, the feedback you provide. Community is an essential ingredient to a happy, fulfilling life and the strength of this community has proven invaluable. Thank you all for that and please know you can always reach out to us.
Opportunities: and the belief in our ability to take advantage of them. Each introduction someone in our community shares with us is a gift. don't take these opportunities lightly, and some of our best investments have come from referrals. Luck happens when preparation meets opportunity, and in exchange for your opportunity, we promise to always be prepared. We do not take these for granted and look forward to more shots on goal in the next year.
Support: we learn so much from each and every one of you. From the founders we invest in, to the random one-off conversations, we deeply value each and every interaction. We firmly believe that everyone has something to teach and go into every conversation with eyes and ears wide open (although you could say “with arms wide open”).
